International Café
We have a International café that meets on every Saturday evening from 20:00 until 22:00 at St. Peter's Church hall. You can come at anytime and thus, don't be discouraged if you are late.
At the café we simply sit and talk over a selection of biscuits, snacks, coffee and tea. It is completely free of charge. Come to make friends with Dundee people and other international students, or to find out more about Dundee.
Where have you been during your time in Scotland? Other people may also like to explore this place. Send in your best photo in advance to enter our photography competition. We would like to see: landscapes, seascapes, places of interest, nature photos, unusual shots of familiar places, photos that ask questions or make us think, photos from your outings and from Frioends International outings – something that tells us about your time in Scotland. The Café wil be open as ususal 20:00 – 22:00 but in addition we shall go for an evening walk to a place of interest in the countryside near Dundee. If you want to join us for the walk, arrive early at 18:00. We shall travel by car so if you want to come, you must let us know by emailing farquhars@friendsinternational.uk Remember to give us exact names and numbers of people coming. Please provide a mobile number in case the group becomes separated during the walk. Please bring with you warm and waterproof clothing, hats and gloves and anything that you may want to eat or drink on the way. Then arrive promptly at 18:00 at St. Peter’s, the place where we usually meet for the Café. We shall return to st Peter’s at around 21:00 when we can join the other students in the International Café. We look forward to a pleasant walk together and we hope you can join us.
